The New Yoder’s

Filed under: Uncategorized — agconrad @ 1:56 pm

I am finally starting to catch up on my editing, and yes I realize this wedding was almost two months ago…Life can be a little crazy. But none the less, here we are.

Michael and Lauren, the long distance relationship champions! While one was in school in Idaho, the other was here in the South Bend area, the proposal took place on a visit and the majority of the wedding planning took place on the visits to follow. It was quite an undertaking, but every detail was thought through and the day could not have been more perfect for this beautiful couple!

For you photographers, I predominantly used the Canon 35 1.4L with my 5d for this wedding.

Here are some of my favorites from the day:

This bow was just gorgeous!

Just check out those faces, so classic!

I have never had so much fun with formal portraits before, these guys were crazy!

Supposedly, this is a laugh…?

This wasn’t the first kiss, but I thought it was so much sweeter!

Scott and Kari’s Country Wedding

Filed under: Wedding — agconrad @ 12:57 am

So Kari and I are alot alike, we both grew up on farms in northern Indiana, we both went to Bethel College, and we both still love the country! She met Scott, a farm boy from Montana, and it was a match made in heaven!!

They got married at The Blue Dress Barn in Milligan, MI. Here are a few of my favorites!

I had to post two of the rings, because I liked them both so much!!

Cousin/Friend/Brother

So many memories.

So many laughs.

When words fail, Jesus’ love lifts us up.

When grief envelops, our Savior’s joy shines through.

When sorrow overcomes, our awesome God holds us.

When the pain overwhelms, there is a peace and hope that passes human understanding.

For we weep, but we do not weep like those who have no hope, for we have put our trust in Christ alone.

Sunset Tracks

Filed under: Uncategorized — agconrad @ 8:21 pm

A couple of weeks ago, I shot Erin and Ken’s engagement in Nappanee, IN and we spent some time at a really cool old train station. This is the place that inspired the photo shoot below. I take annual photos for this little guy, Evan, and he’s already 2!!! Anyways, we were hanging out with my cousin Alyssa and her cousin that evening also, so we got a few shots of them to. I am super excited to be shooting their wedding in December!

On to the good stuff————->

Now some of the love birds…

And for those who might have been waiting, another post is going to come soon from the Zappasodi wedding…there were just so many pictures, that I have not finished editing them yet!

A Hartville Happening – Eric | Briana

Filed under: Uncategorized — agconrad @ 3:34 pm

It was about four years ago, that’s when I met Eric and Briana for the first time. I was in Hartville, Ohio, (which is between Akron and Canton) on fall break with one of my college friends. He was nice enough to take a fairly large group to his home for the weekend. Little did I know what would blossom out of that one friendship and that first trip to the sleepy, beautiful town of Hartville, Ohio.

Looking back now it has been several years, That friend, Jared, is now my best friend and our wives are best friends. We have visited Hartville regularly ever since and have come to call their family, our family. All six of Jared’s aunts and Uncle’s share their homes and resources freely with everyone and it is truly a centered and special family to be considered a part of. They truly have and share the love of God freely with all they encounter and it shows in every aspect of theirs and their children’s, and their grandchildren’s, and even in their great-grandchildren’s lives.

Wow, I could probably keep talking about them, but the purpose of this post is to share the pictures of the wedding of Eric and Briana, the last of the Coblentz boys, to finally get hitched. He married his high school sweetheart, Briana after dating for several years! I was not the photographer, but had my fun nonetheless. Tom of Livigni Photography was very gracious and is an exceptional photographer! Check him out here: http://www.livigniphotography.com

So on to some pics!!

If you knew this family of boys, you would know that the wedding day had to start with some Basketball!

“Campy” – One of the 12 Crazy Groomsmen!

Here is Tom Livigni, working his assets…Nikon D700, beautiful piece of machinery!

Nancy, the beautiful mother of the groom, almost in tears watching her husband and four sons walking up the drive-way.

The Coblentz Family (Without Wives and Grandchildren)

The Groom did not have an ounce of stress the entire day, totally care-free and having a great time!

Probably one of my favorites of the entire day

The Stunning Bride Arrives!

The First Look! (And the other photographers covering every possible angle!)

And the Parents look on with pride and joy all over their faces!

How about some details!

The Best Man’s (Zach, the oldest brother) speech notes

At this point, I feel I should take an intermission and let you know that this will certainly be the longest blog post of my short blogging life, but could very well break a Guinness record, so get comfy, because we are just getting started.

The Guys

The Adorably Handsome Ring Bearer, Micah Coblentz!

Had to put this one in, look closely! Who is out of place in this picture?           No, not the best man!?!?!? Is that a Cell Phone!?!    HE WOULDN’T!!!

Adella with Grandpa

Accidentally shot this way overexposed and she looked like an angel, Love this Shot!!

Seriously!? This kid should be modeling for Calvin Klein at age 4!

Should be the cover for the next InStyle Wedding Magazine!

Adella and Makana (I think they are for hire as flower girls, probably go for 1,000 each per hour!)

After they got engaged, they did not kiss until this one right here! That’s 7 Months!!!!

It was a gorgeous reception at the Hartville Marketplace!

This cake had the verse from Song of Songs Chapter 3, that Eric used to propose to Briana in a bible with her new name on it, and was also their wedding theme.

This is such a great shot of Briana kissing her husband during the first dance…

Now on the Partay! In this picture, you can see three distinct conga lines, what you can’t see is that they were all connected! Longest Conga Line I have ever seen!

The dance floor was full and got crazier as the night moved along…see picture after this one for an example…

I swear it is not as bad as it looks!

A couple of the bride and groom getting their groove on!

Oh and Hey! Remember that time we almost set the sprinklers off cuz we lit the sparklers INSIDE!! (Brandon Triola…)

And the sendoff…

It was an awesome day!!!

Ken+Erin=Awesome

Filed under: Engagement — agconrad @ 4:27 am

So, you know it’s going to be a great day when you almost kill your couple by making them stand to close to a freight train going 60mph at the beginning of the shoot…Yeah it was one of those days!

So anyways, Ken and Erin were a blast, and did not mind in the least that their photographer tried to massacre them to start the day off. We shot in and around Nappanee and had a lot of fun. Here some images from our adventures! PS you can see a bunch more over at http://miller.agconrad.com

There were so many great ones, but this next one was probably my overall favorite of the day, it really shows how the weather should have been terrible, but the sun popped out and we ditched the umbrella and danced!

The Zappasodi’s!

Filed under: Wedding — agconrad @ 3:56 am

So Matt and Emily finally got hitched today! It seemed like the day would never come, but the Texan city boy and the Hoosier farm girl tied the knot under a beautiful blue sky at Winona Lake Indiana today. It was a lot of fun and the newlyweds were glowing. Here is just a couple of quick shots straight from the camera so they can get a taste before they get on their plane for their tropical honeymoon tomorrow! Love you guys and all the best!

So we spent the weekend at a great cabin in southern Indiana with the family. We got to take my wife’s new Land Rover out for it’s first real offroad adventure and we had a great time celebrating Easter and my Dad’s 50th Birthday!

Here are a couple of shots from the weekend…

I finally finished up some editing from back in December. Some of my non-portrait work. More landscapes.

Here is a shot I took of some random couple with their kid, but it turned out so great, I just wish I knew who they were so I could give it to them!

El Cerro de Las Mitras

Filed under: Uncategorized — agconrad @ 2:49 pm

So back in December, I was able to travel down to Monterrey for the holidays with my wife’s family. We had a great time and I did blog quite a bit in early January about it if you are niterested in going back and checking out some of the pictures.

Anyways, my brothers in law, Mau and Tonio took me backpacking and camping up in the mountains for my Christmas present. The first thing I learned is that I was really out of shape! Next was that it was awesome!

Here are some pictures from the trip and I have some video also, which I will post when I get around to editing it which can take forever…

Here we are after stopping at the market, Las Mitras is behind us.

Breakfast, which was incredible, refried beans, bacon, leftover steak, and butter, fried over an open flame and then you put it into tortillas and add guacamole and salsa.
